Create a unique handmade bonsai pot from clay in this relaxed and creative workshop. Whether you're a bonsai enthusiast, a pottery beginner, or simply looking to try something new, you'll learn the techniques needed to design and craft a beautiful pot for your bonsai tree.
Led by experienced tutor Hilary, who has over 8 years of pottery experience, this hands-on class will guide you through shaping, texturing, and finishing your own bonsai pot. You'll gain practical skills in working with clay while creating a functional and personal piece to take pride in.

- Basic clay-handling and hand-building techniques
- Designing pots suitable for bonsai trees
- Creating drainage holes and structural features
- Adding textures and decorative details

Duration: 3 hours
All clay and materials included
Small group — maximum 10 participants
Your pot will stay with Hilary to dry and be twice fired before collection in 4-5 weeks.
In the meantime you can pick out a tree and learn to prune and shape it with Shiro Bonsai.
